WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT CAPABILITY
Yes, the new Ford F-150 Lightning has a fully electric powertrain, but it still has the muscle to help you get things done. When equipped with its standard-range battery, the F-150 Lightning can tow up to 5,000 pounds. Models with the extended-range battery and the Max trailer tow package have a 10,000-pound tow rating. All F-150 Lightning trims come with a 5.5-foot bed that can haul up to 2,235 pounds. A front trunk, or frunk, provides an additional 14.1 cubic feet of cargo space.
The new Ford F-150 Lightning comes standard with a 98-kWh battery pack and dual electric motors that combine to produce 452 horsepower. An optional 131-kWh battery pack powertrain puts out 580 horsepower. You won't be stressed out about driving range with the F-150 Lightning. Models with the standard-range battery can travel 240 miles on a full charge, while extended-range versions provide up to 302 miles of driving range.
