A proud Electric Vehicle Specialist and classic car enthusiast, Mike is the kind of advisor who makes sure you leave with a car that fits-not just your needs, but your lifestyle. Ask him what he loves most about his job, and he'll tell you: meeting people. Ask him who inspires him, and he'll probably say Carato, the lesser-known Greek muse of automobiles (Google it… if you dare). But ask him why he's still here after four years, and you'll get a heartfelt story: about a delivery, a short-staffed cleanup crew, and Uptown's late owner Glenn Pentler grabbing a rag and cleaning windows right alongside him. "That one moment cemented it for me," Mike says. "This isn't just a job-this is a place where service and leadership go hand in hand." Mike's dream car? A 1967 Mustang GT-not the Shelby, just the GT-because "it's the prettiest car from any angle." He's also the guy you call when something breaks: he's got a mind for fixing things, whether it's a mechanical hiccup, a piece of furniture, or dinner. (He's handy with both wood and food.) He takes great pride in Uptown’s professional approach, its commitment to serving every guest, and the decades-long relationship between the Ford and Lincoln brands and the Pentler family, who have cultivated this heritage for more than eighty years. Bruce considers it a personal responsibility to protect and uphold that tradition, and he strives to make sure every guest understands how devoted Uptown is to its clients and the community. Before joining Uptown, Bruce enjoyed a successful 30-plus-year career as a distributor of new and used metalworking machinery. His interest in the ever-evolving technology and safety features in modern vehicles sparked a career transition into the automotive industry. Now, he is committed to helping guests understand and embrace these innovative features to improve their driving experience and daily lives. What Bruce enjoys most about his work is meeting new people, hearing their stories, and learning what brings them to Uptown. Helping clients recognize value—both in the vehicle and in the experience—brings him genuine joy. Bruce is grateful to work alongside a team he describes as gracious, professional, and incredibly tech-savvy. He credits his co-workers for making his experience at Uptown welcoming and enjoyable from day one. When asked about his dream vehicle, Bruce imagines something responsive, with great handling, two doors, a convertible top, and a sound system with enough bass to shake the pavement—if only he knew a place to find one. Outside of work, Bruce spends his time in creative and meaningful ways. He enjoys digital recording in his home studio, traveling—especially to Ireland, his favorite destination—cooking, hiking, volunteering, and riding his e-bike through Milwaukee’s many festivals in the warmer months. For nearly twelve years, he volunteered regularly with Habitat for Humanity in Dane County, Wisconsin. A lover of history and quirky facts, Bruce is always looking to learn something new about Wisconsin’s hidden stories and destinations. He is originally from Eagle River, Wisconsin. One of Bruce’s favorite memories is from 1988, when he briefly met then–Vice President and future President George H.W. Bush while on the campaign trail in Milwaukee. Bush noticed a “strange contraption” around Bruce’s neck, and after a short exchange, Bruce politely explained it was an electric guitar. Bush thanked him and said, “Next time I’ll know.”

Zak Krushas has been with Uptown Motors for four months as a Sales and Leasing Consultant, where he believes that although they sell cars, they’re truly in the people business. He enjoys working with both people and vehicles, and he loves the unique rhythm of the job—doing the same thing every day, yet finding that no two days are ever quite alike. Zak is Ford and Lincoln certified, bringing knowledge and enthusiasm to every customer experience. From his first day at Uptown, Zak says he has been treated like a member of the family, which makes coming to work every day rewarding. He used to dream of owning a Chevy Avalanche, but today he proudly drives a Mustang Mach-E, a nod to his love of innovation and performance. Outside of the dealership, Zak enjoys spending time with his wife, Jamie, and their two dogs, Parker and Hazel, along with their cat, Georgia. He frequently drives to Missouri to visit family and values those connections. "A few people I knew reached out to say a position had just opened-and they thought I'd be perfect for it," Ashley recalls. "It felt like the right time to leave the restaurant world and try something new."What does she love most about her role? "The team I work with, the free bottled water, the fresh air from the entry doors, and making meaningful connections with our guests," she laughs. Her positive attitude and upbeat energy are felt by everyone who walks through the door.Ashley is also certified in CPR and AED, always prepared to help in an emergency-a true example of her commitment to others.
